I am a proud mother of 3 and a wife to an incredibly supportive husband. I was born and raised in Montreal, and moved to Toronto in 94. We moved 5 times over the past 30 years and with every move I learned more about the art of minimizing waste and maximizing space.
I feel blessed to be in a profession doing what I love most. My genuine love and care for people, combined with my innate ability to tackle any space and organize it in a practical and functional way, is a dream come true.
Ever since I can remember, I felt a burst of energy and a rush of adrenaline when organizing. It really gave me a sense of calm and breathed energy into me. I began by cleaning out my drawers and closet in my own bedroom. Clearing out unused items and making space for cherished and useful belongings. Reducing waste and maximizing space, made me feel a sense of accomplishment. My parents enjoyed keeping an organized home and they channeled that onto me.
I would visit my grandparents in Miami every winter break and as soon as my grandmother would see me she would hug me and ask me to help her organize her closet. I felt in my element. Nothing fancy, just sorting items, and pulling out the unwanted clutter to make space for better flow. Setting up the drawers and shelves to be aesthetically pleasing gave me a great sense of pleasure and satisfaction. There is no one right way. It’s personal preference and level of comfort that works best for each individual. Talking through the best use of the space to set it up for the ultimate success.
